OSI Outsource It was founded in 2008 by Koren Palmer, and recently re-branded to Host Bookkeeping Systems Inc. Host empowers business owners to feel in control of their finances. We work to remove stress, confusion and uncertainty and replace it with clarity, freedom and control. We help our clients understand their financial reports, which in turn allows them to make better decisions in their business.
Host uses the highly regarded Pure Bookkeeping System for all of our clients. This ensures that our you can pass your financial records to your accountant without needing them to make many adjustments saving you time, money and hassle. No matter which of our team members work on your file, the bookkeeping will follow the same guidelines, creating impeccable, accurate and consistent records. Koren

Given the opportunity to get to know Koren, you will find that she is kind, personable and fun and that the care she has for people truly extends into her business as well.
Koren has 20 years+ of experience in bookkeeping across service-based industries such as automotive, construction and development, oil and gas, hospitality, dental and health services, engineering, legal, holding companies, and more. Koren is devoted to utilizing software solutions and technology that make financial management for her clients easier.
On a day off, you might find Koren on an adventure day with her family, enjoying the beauty of the Cowichan Valley. She is drawn to the strong sense of community and enjoys the hiking and beaches, not to mention the weather! Koren is a lover of loud music, entertaining guests, and connecting people. Her enthusiasm for life translates into everything that she does.
Andrea (Andi)
Andrea started out her career in administration and worked in both the public and private sectors. She moved onto small business bookkeeping, followed by a stint as the bookkeeper for a large strata corporation. With over 18 years of experience in bookkeeping, she loves her position at Host and being part of an incredible team!
“I really enjoy bookkeeping. It gives me great satisfaction in completing a file from beginning to end. It’s like putting a puzzle together and I love puzzles! Over the course of my employment journey, I have worked with and learned from so many amazing people. I believe in hard work but there’s always room for laughter and some fun!”
Born and raised in View Royal, Victoria, then moved to Cobble Hill, kicking and screaming because she did not want to leave her beloved city, but in the end, it was the best place to raise a family. She continued to work in Victoria for 12 years and now most of her family is in the Cowichan Valley.
Outside of work she enjoys a good hike in Cobble Hill three times a week. While on weekends hiking the many wonderful trails in the Cowichan Valley and cycling the Trans Canada Trail. The best part is going for a tea and espresso brownie afterwards! Every weekend sees a visit with family and friends.

Jen
Although new to bookkeeping, she takes an interest in doing so after first experiencing the world of doing manual and QuickBooks Desktop bookkeeping to help with her husband’s business. She looks forward to working with Host Bookkeeping as an Administrative Assistant, working alongside clients to help manage their businesses.
Since growing up in the Cowichan Valley Jen says, “I love that the island has everything. Mountains, rivers, oceans, and gives us endless opportunities to live and explore nature!”
In her spare time, she enjoys activities like golfing, running, camping and being with family.
